Meet the Staff
Dean Antle has served as the Minister of Music since the spring of 2007. He previously served at First Baptist Fisherville. He has lived in Bullitt County for most of his life. He is married to Dawn and they have two beautiful children–Emily, a freshman at Bullitt East High School, and Jeremy, a fourth grader at Pleasant Grove Elementary. He enjoys golfing with Emily and fishing with Jeremy in his spare time. He loves all kinds of music but has a strong connection with Southern Gospel, having spent 16 years travelling and singing with the Journeymen Quartet.
Clayton Pruett has served as the Minister of Youth/College & Career since 2006. Clayton is from Centrailia, IL. He and his wife, Tiffany, reside in Mt. Washington with their two children, Chloe and Vance. Clayton is currently working on his Bachelors Degree from Boyce College in Biblical and Theological Studies. Clayton has done a little bit of everything in his life from working in fast food to selling car stereos, but his passion is ministry. He loves being with his family, reading, watching UFC, playing Xbox and Wii, sports, coaching wrestling, and listening to music.
Carolyn Collins serves as the Minister of Children. Carolyn is a native of Greer, South Carolina. She has been married to Dennis for 38 years. They have one son, Jonathan, and three granddaugthers, Jessie, Samantha, and Katie. Carolyn has a Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological in Louisville; a MAT from Bellarmine University; and a BA from Virginia Wesleyan, Virginia Beach, Virginia. She has worked at Bullitt Central High School as a FMD teacher for 3 years; Mount Washington Middle School as a MMD teacher for years; and The People’s Church as their Children’s Minister for 9 years. She began serving at Pleasant Grove in 2008. Carolyn likes reading, gardening, bird watching.
Ron Lasley began serving as the Minister of Outreach and Church Growth in May 2010. Bro. Ron is from Shepherdsville, KY. He married Barbara in 1964. They have three sons, Kenneth, Ronnie, and Chris and six grandchildren. Bro. Ron attended Baptist College of Charleston in SC and received a BA with a Major in Biblical Studies and a Minor in Sociology. He attended the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1985-1987 and in 2004 for Church Growth and Evangelism. He has pastored four churches during his ministry, Adams Run, Adams Run S.C., Jericho Baptist, Ravenel S.C., Immanuel Baptist, Shepherdsville, Ky, and Meadow Hill Baptist, Louisville, Ky. He has also served as Chaplain with Motor Racing Outreach and as National Director for weekly racing ministry for National Fellowship of Raceway Ministries. His hobbies include driving stock cars, golfing and softball, his grandkids, and camping and fishing with his wife.
Susan Lewis serves as the Office Administrator. Susan is a native of Shepherdsville and Pleasant Grove is her home church. She married Brian in 1991 and they have two children, Caleb and Brianna. Susan is a 1989 graduate of Bullitt East High School, received an Associates of Arts Degree from Jefferson Community College in 1990 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from the University of Louisville in 1992. Prior to beginning her service at Pleasant Grove in 2001, Susan was employed by Green Meadows Health Care Center in Mt. Washington for 8 years as the Social Service Director. Her hobbies include playing the piano and organ. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.
Dawn Antle serves as the Office Assistant. Dawn is a native of Louisville and resides in Shepherdsville with her husband, Dean, whom she married in 1992. They have two children, Emily and Jeremy. Prior to serving as Office Assistant at Pleasant Grove in 2007, Dawn worked as an Opthalmic Technician at John-Kenyon Eye Center until she became a stay-at-home mom in 1996. Dawn enjoys anything that her children are involved in. She likes to read, scrapbook, cook, bake, and entertain.
