Women on Mission

Since 1888, women have been organized in a national network to help churches discover the joy of missions. That national network is know as the Woman’s Missionary Union, and our church group is known as “Women on Mission.”

Women on Mission is more than just a name we share with thousands of other mission-minded women’s groups around the world. Our watchword is I Corinthians 3:9, “Laborers together with God.” Women on Mission are dedicated to the following principles:

We believe that Jesus calls each of us to be on mission for Him. Women on Mission can help women find their place of service. Some like it because it is just for women. Others have a passion for learning about missionaries and prayerfully supporting them. Most of us like to roll up our sleeves and actively participate in mission acritvities. You’ll find it’s a blessing to minister to others, whether it’s meeting missionaries, collecting diapers or visiting a nursing home.
